Dr Mary-Anne Kedda, PhD MPH

Biography:

Dr Kedda is the Clinical Registry Manager at the Australian Prostate Cancer Research Centre – Queensland, and an Adjunct Associate Professor at the School of Population Health at the University of Western Australia.  Prior to this appointment, Dr Kedda was the Clinical Trials Manager at the Department of Radiation Oncology at Sir Charles Gairdner Hospital in Perth, Western Australia (WA), which is the largest public provider of Radiation Oncology services in WA.

Dr Kedda is a Molecular Epidemiologist, with a long track record in clinical research of hormone-related cancers, including prostate cancer. She has published internationally in this area and received national funding from the NHMRC and Cancer Australia. She is particularly interested in health-related quality of life, prognostic biomarkers, and the application of good clinical practice in clinical research.

Dr Kedda manages the Queensland node of the Prostate Cancer Outcomes Registry (PCOR-QLD), which has been funded by Movember and is designed to assess patterns of care - and improve the quality of care - for men diagnosed with prostate cancer in Australia.
