Biography:
Laure completed her PhD in 2014 within Professor Hutmacher’s Regenerative Medicine Group and is currently employed as a Postdoctoral Research Fellow at IHBI. Her work focuses on the development of tissue-engineered models for human bone metastasis research and was awarded a Postgraduate Student Award from the Australian Society for Medical Research and an IHBI Early Career Researcher grant in 2015. She is interested in multidisciplinary research across tissue engineering, disease models, stem cells and cancer research disciplines.
