Biography:

Dr Sadowski graduated from the Justus-Liebig University Giessen, Germany in 1998 with a Diploma in Biology. During his PhD studies at the Biozentrum, University of Basel, Switzerland he investigated the relationship of mRNA processing and transcription termination. In 2002 Dr. Sadowski joined the Cancer Program at the Garvan Institute of Medical Research in Sydney as a postdoctoral research fellow to study how phosphorylation and ubiquitination regulate cell cycle progression and tumourgenesis. In late 2004 he moved with the laboratory to St. Vincent’s Institute of Medical Research in Melbourne where he continued his postdoctoral research on enzymes of the ubiquitination pathway. Dr. Sadowski joined the APCRC –Q as a postdoctoral research fellow in late 2010.
