Position:
- Postdoctoral Fellow, APCRC-Q, IHBI, QUT
Credentials:
- PhD at University of Adelaide, South Australia, 2010
- BHSc, Hons (First Class) at University of Adelaide, South Australia, 2005
Biography:
I am an early career-researcher based at the Australian Prostate Cancer Research Centre - Queensland. I joined the group in August 2014. I have strong research interests in developing novel prostate cancer target for diagnosis, imaging and detecting of response to therapy. I am also involved in developing nanoparticles-based therapeutics to inhibit KLK4-mediated prostate cancer growth and metastasis.
Prior to joining the APCRC-Q, I undertook a 3 year postdoctoral research position at the Lowy Cancer Research Centre, University of New South Wales in Sydney. I studied the anti-inflammatory properties of novel small molecule inhibitors in collagen-antibody-induced arthritis and atherosclerosis. Prior to that, I completed my PhD at University of Adelaide investigating the immunomodulatory properties of quinolone-based fatty acids.
