Biography:

Mr. Saurabh Pandey graduated (B. Pharm) from UPTU (LKO, India). After finishing 1st class bachelor’s degree and securing GATE scholarship, he did post-graduation (M.Pharm.- pharmaceutical chemistry) from the same university with 1st class grades. He did master thesis project entitled "Tissue Disposition and Excretion Study of Newer Antimalarial Agent (99/411) in rats and monkeys". He developed and validated analytical methods (using LC-MS/MS) for quantification of the novel antimalarial drug in biological matrix i.e. blood plasma, feces, urine and various tissues. Further, completed a pharmacokinetic study to complete thesis work.

He worked at the position of lecturer at Institute of Pharmacy, PSIT (India) for 5 years. In academics, his role was to take lectures and practical classes for bachelor’s and master’s degree students of pharmacy. He was also involved in various research projects dealing with drug discovery and development.

Currently, Saurabh is pursuing Ph.D. degree from School of Pharmacy, The University of Queensland. He got AUS Commonwealth Govt. Scholarship (IPRS) for whole Ph.D. tenure. He is doing PhD thesis work titled “identification of anticancer and immunomodulatory phytochemicals from papaya”.
