The B3 2015 symposium will bring together researchers from across South East Queensland, who use 'omics' technologies such as Next Generation Sequencing, Mass Spectrometry, Nuclear Magnetic Resonance or High-Throughput Multiplex Elisa Systems. These technologies acquire 'Big data' from biological systems and are used in advanced bioinformatics and mathematical approaches to unravel the molecular complexity within. QUT is well positioned to take a lead role in these rapidly emerging areas.

The symposium is hosted by QUT's Institute for Future Environments (IFE) and the Institute for Health and Biomedical Innovation (IHBI).
