Alliance Researchers Published

"The kallikrein 14 gene is down-regulated by androgen receptor signalling and harbours genetic variation that is associated with prostate tumour aggressiveness" receives publication in an international journal.

Recently, Australian Prostate Cancer Research Centre Queensland (APCRC – Q) and Australian-Canadian Prostate Cancer Research Alliance (Aus-Can PCRA) researchers have had their work published in various scientific publications.

Professor Judith Clements, Dr Jyotsna Batra, Dr Srilakshmi Srinivasan, Dr Felicity Lose and Dr Amanda Spurdle of Queensland University of Technology and Dr Mitchell Lawrence of Monash University, the Australian Prostate Cancer BioResource, with others, have had their work on kallikrein 14 published in De Gruyter’s Biological Chemistry publication.

Professor Clements, Dr Batra and Dr Lawrence are all members of the Aus-Can PCRA and are involved in various collaborative research.

De Gruyter are an international publishing house with offices in Berlin Germany and across America.

The paper is titled, “The kallikrein 14 gene is down-regulated by androgen receptor signalling and harbours genetic variation that is associated with prostate tumour aggressiveness”.

Professor Clements, Dr Batra and Dr Lawrence are all members of the Aus-Can PCRA which encourages collaborations between institutions and countries in order to ensure maximum progress within prostate cancer research.

Dr Batra has another paper pending publication and Professor Clements and Dr Batra are awaiting publication on an invited book chapter.
